The sphera is a great freediving mask but not so for spearfishing the beuchat mundial mask has great visibility, low volume, and a nice soft skirt good for spearfishing.

+1 for the omer alien; lower volume than the superocchio, wider field of view, and much much more comfortable.

The minima is fine for training. I use mine in the pool. With the limited field of view, it does feel like you're looking through swim goggles.

Scubapro? Shmubapro

The Alien is one of the more user friendly free diving masks. I would say that the Alien has viewing angles similar to some diving masks. I suspect that the Problue 'Nero' Mask - Reflective Lens - Black I recent got is a oem of an alien.

A lot of free diving masks don't fit Asian faces very well and seem to be really small, in fact the superocchio is sometimes sold as a kid's or female mask.

Try out as many masks as you can if possible.

Cheers
