Guys,

I need to get from LIbya to Equador at the end of this month in order to get to Galapagos :D

Money is less important than time, so if anyone has any suggestions about how this might work, I'm all ears.

Libya - Europe - Equador can certainly be done, but surely there will be a time saving if I head direct to South America and then on to my final destination of San Cristobal, Equador.

I know this is an unusual one, so I throw myself on the great wisdom of Scubaboard and its lovely members:blinking:

It would be much easier through Europe. AFAIK, there are only four ways of flying directly from Africa to South America, none of them from Northern Africa, neither to Ecuador:

South African Airways daily from Jo'burg to Sao Paulo
Malaysian Airlines twice/week from Jo'burg to Buenos Aires
TAAG weekly from Luanda (Angola) to Rio de Janeiro
Air Portugal/TACV weekly from Sal (Cape Verde Islands) to Fortaleza
