Hello,

I'd like to get over to Ft. Pickens this weekend, but I seem to be at a loss trying to figure out when high tide is. It seems like three different websites, two iPhone apps and two dive shops have all given me a variety of answers. I know that spring tide is this weekend, and I've always been there closer to neap - - - so I'd like to get it right this time.

So, why am I finding such conflicting information? The date is question is this Sunday, May 16th. And more importantly, two things: what's the REAL high tide time, and who wants to dive the jetty with us?? (McGuires to follow. . . . )

Is this just info from the station in the bay entrance vs. the one further up in the bay?
I would THINK that 10:40 or so would be a great time to hit the water, but I've been wrong before. . . .

Thanks!

Carl

I always used saltwatertides.com, which confirms your 11:18 time for the Pensacola Bay entrance
Code:
Day High Tide Height Sunrise Moon Time % Moon
           /Low Time Feet Sunset Visible

Su 16 High 11:18 AM 1.5 5:54 AM Rise 7:59 AM 4
    16 Low 11:44 PM -0.4 7:37 PM Set 10:35 PM

M 17 High 12:09 PM 1.4 5:54 AM Rise 9:03 AM 9
    17 7:38 PM Set 11:25 PM

It shows 12:41 for Pensacola, which, I guess, is further up the bay.

Each location selected will have a slightly different time.
