Is anyone interested in a Galileo Terra? It's used, but in good shape and works perfectly. I'm helping a friend out by selling it. It retailed for $680+. $250 or best offer seems fair? Best to email me at kathydeee@yahoo.com.

Please PM offers. Here's a bit more info:

The Galileo Terra is for the advanced and recreational diver wanting all the progressive features of Galileo Sol but prefers a traditional pressure gauge.

Both the predictive multi-gas and heart rate monitor features are available as upgradeable options for Terra, and can be purchased at a later date.

Full-Tilt Digital Compass with Bearing Memory: A powerful navigational system with integrated digital compass that remains accurate regardless of inclination, a diving industry first. You can set a bearing to navigate to and from a desired destination both on the surface and underwater. Galileo keeps you on course with arrows and guides if you stray. It even displays markers at various degrees for square, triangular or reciprocal courses. Galileo stores the set bearings in the dive profile so you can review them on your PC after download.

Extra-large Dot Matrix Display and Huge Memory: View pictures and charts during the dive; store images of dive sites and upload tables or messages for easy communication. Enjoy details like the dive profile including a complete list of deco stop times. You can even observe the tissue loading status. Review depth, temperature and heart rate profiles after the dive directly on Galileo’s on-board log book. Galileo stores the most recent 100 hours of diving in a 4-second sampling rate for download to your PC.

PDIS (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops) optimizes your dive in complete security. The PDIS option calculates an intermediate stop based on how much nitrogen uptake your body has endured, taking into account your current dive, previous dives and breathing mixes. This proposed stop allows you to reduce on gassing and slowly release nitrogen while you continue cruising along and enjoy your dive. PDIS is a unique scientific application from UWATEC, for safer, more optimized diving in both the recreational and technical arena.

Upgrade your computer with new functions and features downloaded from our web site: Another exclusive technological achievement by UWATEC. You may want an expanded software package or simply want to add a new language. Galileo Sol can be reprogrammed as your diving and technology evolve.

See what you want when you want by choosing one of the 3 pre-configured screen display modes: LIGHT mode shows the most important information in the biggest possible figures. FULL display gives you everything at once. CLASSIC mode is the perfect balance between the two.

Alarms and warnings displayed in text in the language of choice: You will never misunderstand an essential beep underwater because Galileo spells it out. You decide. Warnings can be visual, audible or both.

Galileo’s user interface is as easy to use, program and view as a cell phone: Menus, settings and functions are in your language of choice. Buttons are labeled and change when the function changes. Navigating through the various menus is so intuitive, you may be tempted not to read the manual—but please do!

You can truly personalize your Galileo: Enter your owner and emergency information. The first two lines are displayed on the main surface screen and an additional 18 lines are in a dedicated menu. Input emergency contacts and dive insurance numbers, plus any allergies or medical conditions. It will all be automatically accessible by rescuers should an accident occur, so they can better assist you.

Oil filled technology: Allows us to make a slim designed computer with an extra-large rectangular display. Oil filling also gives us more technological freedom and is the reason we are the only dive computer on the market rated to a depth of 330 meters per EN13319 standards.

User-replaceable battery: The separate air-filled battery compartment makes it easier for you to replace the battery yourself. It can even be done between repetitive dives without affecting the saturation information.

Infrared technology and PC download capability: Lets you continue your dive experience once you get out of the water. You can log, organise, analyse and print details of each dive and even compare your dive profile to your buddy’s.

Predictive Multi Gas (Available as upgrade): Allows you to enjoy the full benefits of carrying high oxygen concentration mixes in addition to your main breathing gas. Our algorithm predicts the switch to the new mix and includes it in the deco calculation plus prompts you to use it at the correct depth. If you don’t switch, Galileo adapts accordingly. You can get an overview of decompression calculations for several combinations of gases summarized on one screen at the push of a button.

Exclusive Heart Rate Monitoring System (Available as upgrade): Galileo is the first and only dive computer to have an integrated heart rate monitor, incorporating the heartbeat into the workload, and then tailoring the decompression calculations to your dive. UWATEC has teamed with Polar, world leader in heart rate monitoring instruments, to bring you this innovative technology. Each diver is unique and so is our core physiology. Body responses during a dive are not the same. With the heart rate monitor Galileo Sol is able to further sense your efforts and adapt itself to reflect the condition your body is reporting. You get the safest no-stop and decompression stop calculations, even under the most demanding circumstances.

Works great though, I don't think it's seen many dives.
