I've got 2 transmitters that seem to pair fine with my Sol. Just wondering if one is newer/better than the other.

One is six sided with 3 flat sides and has a wholly metal cap that can be removed to change the battery. Says swiss made on top. Like so:

The other is close to circular with a more shiny plastic. The cap that is removed to change the battery is also plastic. Just like this one:

From what I can gather maybe the round, plastic one is newer? Possibly better connectivity and longer battery life?

Rounder one is newer. No idea on differences though I think the battery is different.
