i am lookig for some information about Genesis Escort Dive computers. I have one and i really like it but i cannot use the software to access the computer in Windows Xp I also am having a hard time finding out who is the actual manufacturer. I am hoping that someone on here might be able to direct me to a newer program and or the manufactureers web site or phone number

I was wondering if you ever found out the information you were looking for? I too now have an Escort computer but it came with a Oceanic Datatrans manual. I am now looking for the right manual. I am hoping Genesis gets its website completed soon.

Oceanic is the OEM.

The interface won't work with a modern computer. The protocol is controlled by the PC's internal clock speed (incredibly dumb but true) and the Escort won't talk to a PC with an internal clock running at more than 100mhz.

Emulators probably won't work because the software is looking directly at the hardware.

Basically, you're S.O.L. as far as downloading it goes.
