    One must wonder if it was the blow to the head that did him in.

    Quite young but could still have had a heart attack.

    The way the article reads, it's almost as if he fainted getting up too fast.

    Sometimes the cops get involved with any unexplained death, depending on jurisdiction. Happened in Milwaukee when a married couple died on a 300ft wreck dive on Lake Michigan in early July.

    Need an autopsy (+ toxicology) to figure out what happened to this poor man.

    Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and also the JDC crew members. They train, train & train every month for 1st responder duties. I dive their boats regularly and watched them train not only with O2 kits, back boards, by-the-book procedures, and even AED's on each boat. One of the best prep'd & trained dive crews in SE Florida. And it's just as hard on the crew as the family.
