Is anyone diving at Gilboa on November 11 or 12?

I am up for one day of diving, but I will need the other for homework. :( Again. :crying2:

How about trying to get out on the lakes and do some real diving...I know some chaters are still running in the milwalkee area...And there is still boat up in huron also...

I just got back from Milwuakee a few weeks ago. Thought the car ferry was a bit over rated though - still really cool and viz was awsome, just not worth 3 of 4 dives for the weekend. It is just a bit far for a day trip and $$'s a bit tight for hotel, charters etc. Plus, you know you can dive Gilboa regardless of what the weather does. This time of year the charters are much more unpredictable.

Current forecast for next Saturday (November 11) is high 61 low 37 with showers. Sunday is high 53 and low 40 also with showers. Source is http://www.intellicast.com/

Forecast is for Ottawa.

Oh no, showers! We might get wet! LOL

My cold is still getting better - should be fine by next weekend. If I had a prefrence, I'd say Saturday since it is a 3 hour drive for me but am open to either.

Anyone else looking at coming?

I'll contact a couple people through the LSD down here.

I have about a 2.5 hour drive, and Saturday being the warmer day will work best for me too!

2.5 hours? Are you south of town? I can get there in 1:45 from Brookville. Are you taking exit 134 or going all the way to Findlay? Get off of I-75 at Exit 134, turn left and go until the road dead ends then turn right, the quarry will be a mile or 1.5 miles down the road on your right.

I'm in Englewood, and I make conservative driving estimates - allowing time to throw stuff in the car in the morning. I can be on I-70 in about 10 minutes, and (assuming I-70/I-75 isn't a mess) I can be North-bound in another 5 minutes.

I do take exit 134.
