Well,
Ihave been diving for 25 years and now have been involved in getting my 15 year old step son certified. My wife dives like me, solid, self sufficient, and enjoys all kinds of diving. Boy, that's not the way the new generation of divers are! It's all about the specifications of the equipment, new techno features,.......

I have put my step son in diving bootcamp and I am the drill instructor! We went out to some oil rigs in the gulf on a 40' charter boat two weekends ago. Boy, the divers on board were scary! One was a new PADI "dive master" and his son! My wife and I ended up helping his son swim into the rig because the current got him. Wow! Great dad dive master!

Oh well, enough complaining. MAUI taught me different way back and I am doing my part to pass on good diving to these young guys! Help me teach this new era of divers good skills we were taught back in the day.
