Going to PDC (Playa Del Carmen) later this month - Need some tips

Ok, so I would take the ADO bus from the airport to PDC, then after getting off the bus in PDC, I would walk around the corner to the taxi stand and take a taxi to my hotel. Is that correct? And the total for the bus + taxi would be approx $30-35US, is the correct?



So you're saying the taxi would be aprroximately $8-10 from the PDC bus station to our resort?

You are correct on both counts. If memory serves, the ADO will run you about $12pp one way. The cab can run from $5 to $15. We generally stay in town eliminating the need for a cab ride.

As for dive shops, may I suggest Mexico Blue Dream. Quality operation, although they don't pamper you as much as I've seen 'em do elsewhere (you may have to put together your own gear ). I might skip diving in Playa altogether unless you need to refresh you skills and go straight to the Cenotes and Coz, they'll take you there. Oh, and don't miss the Cenotes.
