Pompano is just north of Ft Lauderdale: Force-E is located on Atlantic Blvd, not far from US 1. I just purchased a new Zeagle sausage from their WPB store. It was not all that expensive and seems to be made well. I destroyed my old cheapo one the weekend before Christmas (it did not have a relief valve and I over-inflated at depth so it essentially popped by the time it hit the surface: this is after two years of such abuse of the thing) and borrowed another divers extra Zeagle safety sausage on the second dive: it works well and is easy to inflate at 90 feet and send up on a finger reel.

If you choose the Vandy make it a double dip. That is the only way I would choose that over Key Largo. Remember, if you drive to Key West and the current is ripping on the Vandy and the operator calls it you may get a so so dive somewhere else. If you go to Key Largo and a wreck dive gets cancelled there, you have awesome reefs near by.

I picked up a $15 6' bag from Diver's Direct for all my "the boat's going to leave me fears". It's a lot harder to launch from depth than the Halcyon 3.3' bag that I'm now trying to find $100 for.
