Does anyone have any advice, pros or cons, on masks for small faces?

My cousin is 5' size 0-1 and 100 or so lbs. She will be buying a mask soon and we are looking for some good places to start.

the Mares Target. It is very low volume, and it works well for me. Fit is everything in a mask, so trying it on is important.

and found that the Mares Ventosa was exceptionally small...also, Rodales has a mask review that features masks for small faces. You might want to check their online archives...

Well, she lives in upstate NY and the dive shops I talked to don't have a wide selection. They have one or two models that might work for small faces but if they don't I may have to resort to ordering off the internet to try a wider variety. I too have a small and narrow face and my LDS only had one mask that fit me. It's not bad but I do have issues with it. I'd like to try some different models also.

Check out the TUSA Platina. Not the Platina Hyperdry or anything fancy, just the plain ol' Platina.

It's available with a black skirt, too.

you simply HAVE to try them on if you want a good fit. Everyone's face is unique and what might work well for one small face might not work well for another. I know this isn't what you want to hear but it will be worth the running around when they are diving in a good fitting mask. The best mask for you isn't always the most expensive either...

I know you weren't asking for money, but there's my 2 cents.

Best of luck, a good fitting mask is VERY important...

tusa splendive 2 works for me. not sure if they're still in production, though.
