Good snorkeling spots close to Malapascua/Cebu - Philippines

Hello,
this May I will travel to the Philippines and I am searching for good snorkeling spots close to Malapascua/Cebu in the Philippines. I am considering Malapascua and Balicasag. Also Oslob but I have been told that whale shark snorkeling there is upsetting because there are too many people, perhapsa you can suggest me an alternative. Also Apo and Siquijor, but I think they are too far and I would like to focus on Malapascua, Cebu, Bohol
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Malapascua is a great Island. Good beach and good diving but snorkeling is not good.
Good places (of shore snorkeling) are:
Moalboal: Stay north of white beach, not in Moalboal itself
Balicasaq (stay on the island itself, not in Panglao)
Pamilacan
Apo (stay on the island)
Sigujior (of beach from Coco Grove)
Cabilao (less than the previous 4 places).

Oslob is a circus. If you do, stay the night over and take the first boat out.
