Gopro comparison stock housing, oculus r5, eyeofmine and blurfix with and without a ur-pro cy filter

All videos as they came out of the camera the red filter shots had an eye dropper auto white balance set as the gopros's white balance was too red at this depth with the filter.

Marty, Great video as always!

I had a quick question. I went diving in Hawaii with the Blue Urpro filter and I am trying to balance out the red from the shallow shots (like when I'm going over the side of the boat). Not too successful with it in Premiere Pro. any tips?

Thanks :D

I don't have any real above water footage and its night time atm so I cant get a decent shot to test in good light with my gopro and the red filter, but managed to find this little section where I popped my head up to try and see how the plugin I use works for that situation. It has worked ok but its not a great shot as its overexposed, the camera only surfaced for a few seconds before I switched it off and was still adjusting to the extra light. I will try tomorrow during the day to take a test shot on land and give it a proper go.

The plugin I use is magic bullet colorista 2 plugin, its not cheap but works great. I got this with my cs5 package when I did some work for a company and they gave me a license with quite a few extras to do up a little presentation for them which I have hardly explored that deeply into.

There may be others out there that give similar results but this is the one I had to play with and works magic at one click. Red Giant - Products - Magic Bullet Colorista II I see there is a free trial on the site maybe you should give it a go and see how it works out for you.
