Grand Bahama weather in September?

I have some friends going to Freeport in September, and am trying to decide whether to accompany them. What weather can I most likely expect for the second week in September? How about water temperature?

Hot & humid..... slight chance of Hurricanes.

Water temp should be in the low 80's. The water doesn't cool off much until later in the fall.

And quiet. It's slow season for tourist, because of that slight risk of hurricanes I suppose. In fact, on some of the out islands, a lot of places close in Sept. Should be fine on Grand Bahama though.
