At the end of the Siren trip you will receive a letter in an envelope inviting you to tip, saying it is not mandatory, suggesting 10% of trip cost. Same letter that is on all Siren liveaboards, regardless of the location (I think!). I did tip as I thought the service fantastic, but not 10%. I never know how much to tip.. I don't want to be stingy but the whole concept is foreign to me.
It was so nice doing an Australian liveaboard recently when there was no opportunity to tip... to the degree that after wed disembarked the American punter on board got quite worried that she hadn't been able to tip.
