That shark is probaly long gone and was just curious because the Guy was hunting. Go dive!

Oh trust me....I'll be diving BUT NOT at Del Monte Beach or at least no long surface swims around the area for a few weeks :jaws: :lol:
 
I thought that when they tagged sharks and tracked them they showed that they generally don't hang around the same area, so I doubt there is much danger.

Well, if Del Monte is off limits in your book, then Monterey is probably off altogether...heh

My guess is that GW's have a fairly large area they stick with, and then they move on...

I doubt this shark is waiting around Del Monte...although, the halibut are reportedly spawning right now...Hmmmmm
 
you guys are lucky ,take the cam. next time and post some nice pics.If the shark becomes curious then swim very agressively towards him and punch him in the snout,if that doesnt help, then hit him with your stump as often as you can.peace
