Hello everyone,
Thankyou for the warm welcome. For those who asked, I am going through the OW certification course (almost done!!!!). I should get certified at the end of OCT. Planning on doing the Certification in FL Keys.
WileEDiver, Yes Dantes is still opened. The Bickhead location burned a year or so ago, but it got re-built. The alligators and crocs. were unharmed.
Native narcosis, where in TX are you? I lived in Texas for many years (San Antonio and Austin) and still miss it!!
Ihunter, neighbor, LOL. I am going to the Keys and later on to Panama City. Do you know of good Dive Shops down there?

We dove the Tropical Sun out of the Panama City Dive Center. The captain was nice but the Divemaster (Ron? Rob?) was really great to dive with.

My trip was a lot of fun, but vis was low (15' when we were out about 250 yards from the beach, 20' in the Gulf) -- water temp at around 50' was 72F.
Haven't been to the Keys yet, let us know how it was when you get back.

I normally dive with Hydrospace in Panama City... I live in the Birmingham are and typically make a trip down once a month... I should be down there for thanksgiving. If you are ever in the Birmingham area, dive Pehlam Blue Water... good Quarry...
