Hi ScubaBoard,
I’m Danny, a new diver currently residing in the Central Savannah River Area in Georgia. I’ve always wanted to scuba dive, about as long as I can remember, I just never took the plunge. Finally, in February, my wife and I decided to make it happen and I could not have enjoyed it more. We’ve got a great shop and amazing instructors waiting patiently for when I get the chance to go back for AOW. It’s safe to say that I am fully invested, haha.
We have a trip planned to Bonaire in April with some really good friends of ours. They’re experienced divers and frequent Bonaire travelers, so they’ll be able to really “show us the ropes”.
I’m thrilled to be here among all of you and I am more than open to any advice and recommendations you have. I’m no stranger to the open water as far as surf, snorkel, or basic breath-hold diving goes, but I’m fully aware of just how green I am in scuba and I welcome any helping hand, whether it be gentle or an iron fist.
That said, I’m glad to be here and look forward to meeting you all!
