Nice pic, thanks for sharing - srmjohnson, i like those pics in particular those of the nurse sharks.

Cheers
:)

Great photos! How did you get the sides and corners shaded like that?

Thanks okiediver

I use a piece of software called Express Thumbnail Creator to put my pics up on the web...it is exactly what I was looking for, really easy to use and a nice clean clear end result. One of the options is to add a shadow to the pics, which I think looks good. You can download a trial at http://www.express-soft.com/etc/

srmjohnson,

whenwer you in Grenada? Your pics bring back good old memories.... A few years back, I was island hopping and stumbled onto Grenada. It's one of the best place I had ever stayed. Beautiful island with great beaches and...... Did you dive Bianca C?

Yeah Grenada is something special...really unspoilt island. Was there until last tuesday, wish I was still there

Dived the Bianca C 3 times. A really amazing wreck...600ft long and 180,000 tonnes. Needs a few dives on it to get any perspective of its sheer scale. There are some pics of it at http://www.simonandmerith.com/diving-grenada2003/index.html

I enjoyed looking at them. I liked the Silhoutte. You need to white balance your camera when you are under water. That will make the colors come out and get rid of the blueish tint.

Really beautiful shots.

Thanks for the tip Rodney. Do you use something like a slate to white balance against ?? Also what is the best depth to set the white balance at ?? Given that most dive profiles start deep and desend to shallower depths as the dive progresses, is it best to try and guess at an average depth and white balance there ?

Thanks,
Simon

You've got some great stuff there, thanks for sharing. :snap:

Any suggestions on dive outfits and time of year to go.(just putting together my 5 trip list for 2004 and looking for suggestions)

Thanks Again,

Jeff
