We just came back from a week on Guanaja diving with the Natilus Dive Resort. In Jan we had booked with Bo Bush's House but when we arrived at the airport, Bo was leaving for the mainland. Bo called Denis, who agreed to take us after the 'hiccup' on our arrival, even though Denis had been away for a month & he wasn't ready for guests. Denis was the most accommodating host going out of his way to ensure we had options & we were comfortable. What a great time! From Senora Layla the cook's wonderful meals, to Alfredo & Rojos on the dive boat we really enjoyed ourselves. Rojos could see things under water from such a great distance it was amazing. Together, the three of us made sure the lionfish population had a huge dent in it. Lionfish ceviche is so delicious! Denisito who is Denis' son is this dynamo little diver with so much energy.

We went for amazing pizza at Han's Place one night with Denis & his family plus the staff. Then one day we walked to the Manatee Bar where we met expats who live there & 'boaties' in the bay. Great stories they had to tell for sure about their adventures. We'll be back! so much to do & so little time...

What a good sport you are to shift gears so quickly! Glad you had a good experience! We stayed at Bo's and at Graham's in 2008, ~week each (Bo's for my diving, Graham's for my husband's flyfishing) and enjoyed both. We'll head back to Guanaja sometime - thanks for posting!

Guanaja can be a very challenging experience but very worthy to log as a diving adventure. I worked as a DM/everyelse a couple of years ago at 'End of the World' just down the beach from Bo's. Glad to hear SB divers are still making the affort to dive "Land of the Pines".
Thanks for the report!
