If your a solo diver, then I would agree. Otherwise, this is misinformation at its finest!
 
In case it is not common knowledge, a virus does not differentiate between disabled or able-bodied people. So you would be just as likely to infect them as they would you. Whether they are more at risk I guess would depend.
