It s only used for storing liftbags, SMB's etc.

If you don't use them or store them somewhere else you don't need it.

Yes, and Yes.

Very useful for storing lift bags or surface markers, etc. You can pick one up off e-bay for a decent price. Plus, it makes your rig look cool ninja black! :ninja:

I use mine for SMB storage when diving wet (no pockets on wetsuit), and it would make a great place to store an "emergency yellow" liftbag when diving dry.

I don't currently use it with doubles, since it makes attaching the bolts to the plate difficult.

Dive a single. Never use a bag, keep my SMB in my pocket. I ended up eBay-ing it for $40 something to drop the total acquisition price of my BP Rig.
