Any suggestions about diving packages, accomodations, whether to use a live-aboard, etc. for diving in Palau? I'm interested in diving there, even though it's a long way from Iowa!

thanks for all your replies guys, I've decided to buy the Continental airpass for Micronesia(around $1,550 from LAX), it allows 4 stops with additonal stops only $50 more.

I'm stopping by these islands in this order:

1. Kosrae or Pohnpei (haven't decided yet) for 3 days
2. Chuuk for 5 days
3. Guam for 1 month (to work and visit family)
4. Yap for 4 days
5. Palau for 2-3 weeks

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about it... especially the 2-3 weeks in Palau, one of those weeks will be camping on a rock island!

Make sure you check out the aquarium while you're there in Palau. It's down near Fish and Fins. Well worth the time.
