Looks like you are a little ways from either ocean. We dove in the Guanacaste area several years ago, and can't wait to get back.

Thanks for the web INE messages. This looks like an awesome community. Yeah, those sites at Playas del Coco in Guanacaste look awesome. I've had my snorkeling trips in the Caribbean and the reefs are awesome. Can't wait to go for a dive with the fishes!

Hey there, welcome to the site. If you are in CR and if my memory is correct then you are just about getting in to one of the best times of the year to dive there, on the Pacific side at least. I used to dive with Oceans Unlimited in Quepos/Manuel Antonio and can recommend them if you do go for your Open Water
