We dive several lakes just in the vincinity. some are as low as 1800 feet, others at close to 6000 feet. So changing those profiles in the computer helps, though i personaly still dive with tables and memorized values. Keeps it simple!

We dive at 2,000 to 5,000 feet regularly around here, and my comnputers set of altitude automatically when I turn them on, but then I have to wait 24 hours before turning them on at a significantly different altitude.

Guess you have to be careful about ascend to higher altitudes after diving the 1,800 foot lake. Denver Colorado shops train in New Mexico, then have to wait before crossing a 8,000 foot pass on the way home.

DandyDon,
can you give me a Hand with:
"BTW - it would really help if you'd complete your Profile..."

No problem for me to fill in a profile, but where?

Sure thing:
  1. click on the (User CP) button in the upper left area of this page;
  2. Then go down the left edge to click [Edit Profile];
  3. Fill in the blanks, and store.
Send me a PM if you have any problems...
