Welcome to ScubaBoard, When the lakes warm up a little more, grab your trauma kit and head for the lakes. I'm a long time diver and EMT, and one often needs the other. Most people, and most divers, don't even carry a band aid. . .

As an aid to keep dressings dry, go by a bulding center, or welding center. Ask for a welding rod case. . . the plastic ones with screw top lid, have a thick rubber "O-ring". . . I've carried a mini trauma kit, dry for many years. I've bought waterproof first aid kits to have them flood within a trip or two. Dive partners seem to aim weight belts, etc. for anything you want to keep dry.

Hope to see you at the lakes this summer, with neither of us needing the other's care.
