HELP!! Screen problems.

My LCD is grey!! The top ones shows stuff just fine.

Quick View turns the screen on and off OK

Tried the hard reset as posted by ReyeR earlier. Noises in the right place, but no joy.

No wind today and I am close to tears...Dee, did you have to send yours back?? Any ideas to get us out diving?

Yeah, I had to send mine in. They replaced the mode dial which is connected to the monitor so if you have monitor problems it's related to the mode dial. Didn't make sense to me at first either!

Time to use your back-up (you DO have one, don'tcha?) and send it in for repair. Make sure you send it to the California location, NOT the New York one! Oh wait...you're across the pond so I'm not sure where you send yours.

Thanks, Dee. packing it up to head out for repair now.

I have a backup housing, but didn't grab a camera! Things just got out of hand on my holiday back and it slipped off the things to do list. Of course.

But I can get the video systems charged or use my Canon stuff. Just not today - need to get the Oly sent off for quickest repair!
