hello all i am making my own houseing an i was wonering if anyone had information on what types of rubber to use, for the o-ring and also what rubber to use for the push butons.

Buna-N is a standard o-ring compound. Durometer (hardness) is usually 70 but 50 (softer) is also available. 70 is probably easier to find. Suggest you use 70 on the control shafts. Either will work for the mains, but I would stick with 70. Grease with a good quality generic silicone grease. You also need to make sure you use the proper dimensions & tolerances for the o-ring grooves.
