Here's a very specific question (looking for recommendations)

My wife, a non-diver, is seriously considering a weeks-long trip to Mexico or somewhere else in the Spanish-speaking world of North or Central America, to take a language immersion course known to be of good quality.

I'd be going with her and would want to get in a lot of diving, and I'd want it to be somewhere with a very active diving community so I could find a great center to get my rescue certification between for-fun dives.

Any recommendations for places where we could find both? (Please say you know of great language programs on Cozumel .)

Thank you! I'd been having trouble finding anything on the island - everything I'd been seeing was in Playa del Carmen.
