Hi i am new to scuba diving and want to get some info on equipment that would be good for both cold and warm water diving. Any help would be appreciated. I am pretty excited about learning to dive. I have done my classroom and pool stuff already but still need to do my open water dives for certification, so yes i am about as new as you can get to diving, but being in the pool was a blast so i know the open water stuff is going to be exciting.

Hi Steve!
First of all, welcome to SB!

Some quick info on equipment, I use a Zeagle Phoenix BC and Scubapro MK25 / S600 Regulator. I dive in both cold and warm water and love them both! It makes sense to buy something that will work with both temperatures than to buy something that will only work for one specific type.

Please let me know if you need some advice. Welcome to scuba diving! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Welcome to the board and good luck on your cert dives. Check out this forum for starters: Buoyancy Compensators (BC's) and Weight Systems - ScubaBoard Also you will find many have asked a lot of the same questions as you probably have so you may want to try the "search" function in the blue bar near the top of this page. :)
