WEll I got my OW certification last summer and Have Been diving in Manvel TX man made lake, Huntsville TX Blue Lagoon some kind of quarry, Cozumel, Roatan Honduras, Max depth I have been is 90ft.


I am planning on going to the Flower Gardens in the Gulf of Mexico end of July. Some people say it is a difficult dive? Does anyone know if the current is worse than Cozumel.

How did you like Roatan? I'm thinking of heading down there this fall. Which airline did you fly and into which city?

Man ROATAN is AWESOME!!!!! I never seen water like that. Worth going and staying a couple of days there. I went to a resort named LAS ROCAS and took a diving trip while we were docked. you can find las rocas on the internet very nice guys and gals the resort there looked pretty nice as well. No a big resort but real personal treatment.

I was on the Norwegian cruise line 7-day cruise from Galveston.

I'll probably fly in and take the ferry(i think this is how people do it). Thanks for the report. I'll look up the resort.

Don't remember much current at the Flower Gardens but the waves were quite intense. Getting in was easy but getting out sucked! I'd go again.
