Can anyone recommend a warm hood that fits around a FFM? I recently trimmed my hood and suffered a massive ice cream headache because I had ruined the seal this weekend. had to cancel a dive on a beautiful sunday...:upset:

Bob3 on this group is a dealer and could hook you up.

Have you tried using the style with a latex face seal to allow you to wear the hood under the FFM?

Try the titanium drysuit zippered hood has a double skin face seal specificly for using FFMs. The neoprene is thick and soft and the zipper make it easy to put on and get off.

I have one and use it with an AGA and have no leaks as long as the hood and FFM are on straight. If the hood is pulled a little too far over to one side I will get a slight leak if I turn my head to that side.

I looked all over the beneath the sea show to find a hood to replace my special order DUI that was getting old and torn. The whites was the only one I found with a double skin seal on a neoprene hood. If you don't worry about being cold or having an attached hood then latex is an option. Most of the time a latex hood is attached to the drysuit.
