Who makes underwater housings for the Canon 20D? I have seen Ikelite, Subal, and Aquatica... are there others?

Seems that Ikelite has a good reputation, what are peoples thoughts and recommendations?

Thanks.

H20, have you seen Alcina's post on the matter?
It sort of notes her thinking process on buying a DSLR and her reasons for choosing one particular housing over another.
Most enlightening!

Have a look here (http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=120748) think you'll find it quite helpful :).

Thanks, Jam.

Yes, Ikelite is a great option. Another nice thing about Ike is that if you want it, he'll try to build it for you. I have a mate who has already customised his housing and is not considering getting a custom port made. It all costs, of course, but it's a nice feature!

Great write-up on the Subal Alcina. What accounts for the cost difference between the Subal and Ikelite? Housing material? I have to say, in looking I like the Subal and it's layout but damn... it's an extra $1200 more.

Thanks, I hope you (and others) find it helpful...this was a tough decision.

Materials, name ( ), the internal stuff, it's smaller and smaller is always more expensive, it's Austrian or German or something, "feel", finish...it's sexy :D

Don't forget - the ports for Subal are very expensive, too. I think the dome is like $1000+ US. Ike doesn't have that problem, they are well priced and he has a ton of choices. Get the manual focus port for your macro lenses!!!

I'd have a hard look at the Ikelite. I still have my Ike for my film slr from years ago. It is a great unit. I really don't think you can go wrong with Ike at all - that would have been my second choice. Would have been my first choice had I not been tempted by the perks of the Subal AND had a little giftie come my way
