Hurricanes seem to dominate the news at the moment.How deep are their affects felt? Obviously a shallow reef will get trashed by a major Hurricane.I have read about wrecks at 200 feet getting pushed around,but how much deeper do they cause damage? Would the Cayman Sponge Belt at 300 feet and below feel any effects? What depth is truly safe from Hurricanes?
