Yet another vote for Seacure. I used to chomp down hard because of poor fit, and when you add a rubber hose that’s wanting to lift it out of my mouth, it was a disaster. Comfo bite was slightly better but the Seacure is amazing. It’s super easy to mold as well!

Try an Aqualung or Apeks ComfoBite mouthpiece. Since you do not need to clamp these between your teeth you will be less likely to chew on it.

Aqua Lung Comfo-Bite Mouthpiece
Yes. A molded MP also keeps it more secure in a ripping current, and is more comfortable (unless for some reason you're donating your primary).

I always figured that a donated mouthpiece when you really need a regulator can come in any shape or size and still be quite welcome. If you donate a spit covered disease ridden preformed mouthpiece to me when I really need one, I will merely say Thank You when I can.

Another vote for Seacure.

If you can chew through a Seacure you have fangs not teeth.:)

^^This, are you sure your hose routing is comfortable?
Maybe you should try "streamlined" routing under arm and an elbow/swivel. I use Apeks with Comfobite (my reg came with it) and never had problem with biting my mouth piece (yet) or jaw fatigue.

Uncfnp, There is some possibility that my great grandfather was a sandtiger shark.
