Hey dive buddies,
I have an opportunity to dive the red sea this month (live aboard). looking for some good input. Cold isn't an issue.

not too bad, just a lot colder than you would expect, especially below the thermocline. i took a 5mm and 3mm vest and would consider the drysuit instead if i was to a repeat a northern red sea trip in winter.

how is the marine life during this time?

seemed reasonable, but you should ask european divers that go often about a comparison of time of year. it is the equivalent of cozumel for them.
