How much do you pay for a Hydro?

I have never taken the tanks to a dive shop, always a fire safety place. 5 years ago I was paying $8 - $12. I just got 5 back from a fire safety place in Panama City Beach, Florida. It cost me $15 each.

I pay $8.00 each for Hydro.

Hydros run $15.00 here (up from $12.50 last year) but that includes the VIP and fill.

I go to Orlando Fire off John Young PKWY in Orlando. They charge $12.

$12, and it includes a whipping or quick tumble if it needs it.

JoeJay123 and I take it to the same place. I get the wholesale price because of the ScubaDucks. Since I am certified PSI Tank Inspector #12694, I do all of my own VIPs. I really couldn't afford to have a shop do ALL of my tanks every year. I also could not afford the $35.00 to $50.00 that many shops charge for hydros. Quite a few of them charge even more for the fill and hydro.

I have 2 tanks that need hydro now, 2 that are up for inspection, had 2 inspected this year already.. its great they had it on their website, I could budget it out and burn tanks accordingly.
