We also have a local dive group that meets routinely to dive different areas of the coast from Monterey (We were there last weekend) to the Mendocino Coast. Poke around in the forums if you want to learn more.

It does help with discussions if you complete your Profile. And it's even more fun when you load an Avatar (personal pic for each post) and a Profile pic. See UserCP to access these if you'd like to...?
If you haven't yet, click Forums above and start going thru the list - looking for those of interest to you, especially your local dive club. Always good to try a Search before starting a new thread, tho

Thanks for your welcoming responses.
This board is great.
I'll fill in my profile in time. Right now I'm going to slide into Zen divers because I'm planning a trip to Japan with relatives and would like get away and dive for a couple of days.
