How's vis today 11/30/04 in Monterey? Using the Moon phase calendar http://users.ameritech.net/paulcarlisle/MoonCalendar.html

I think it should be mirror calm tonight and tomorrow. It would be great dives the next few days with good vis as the sediment in the water has settled.

If anyone out there diving please today and the next few days in Monterey Bay CA, pleaase let us know the vis condition thanks.

After years of using the moon phase calendar for vis prediction, I'm putting together a chart for more solid guidelines. So any input for dive and vis condition is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dove Pt. Lobos today.

It was incredible. The viz was 45'-50' and the water was calm as glass. One of the nicest days of California diving I've ever had.

Had 60'+ horizontal vis at North Monastery today, and 20' at the Metridium Fields. How are you accounting for the variance between individual sites?
