In the event something better does not come along, is anyone interested in a tank or two at Hudson Grotto on Saturday?

Bruce

I was actually thinking the same thing. The clean-up dive at Crystal River was also a possibility, but not sure yet. I've never really dove CR, and it sounds like a good project.

Part of my decision is based on whether I go out Sunday in the Gulf or not. If I do that, I'm diving singles and would have to get them filled somewhere Saturday afternoon after Crystal River.

If the Gulf dive is a go, I was thinking about a couple dives at HG in my doubles on Saturday AM.

I have to go to scubawest on saturday AM to get my tank filled (just in case the venice beach dive happens on Sunday). I could probably sneak in 1 early dive while I am there.

If the storm screws up the Venice beach dive on Sunday, I'll be at Hudson Grotto for the day instead. If anyone is about, or thinks they'll be about, let me know!

Well, if I was still up in Ohio on the lake, I would know what that means! :D

But, being ignorant in the weather ways of FLorida for now, should I assume this will kill any good diving for Venice beach over the holiday weekend? From a new Floridian point of view, I would think this forecast would be bad!

Thank you for any advice and ALL input!

I excitedly await!

Todd,

I can body surf, boogie board and probably use a surfboard on 3 - 5 feet surf in the gulf. Not looking good, but we will know more in the next day or so
