They started out farming fish in the Laguna Ciega, between Isla de la Pasion and the north shore of Cozumel. Had lots of problems with people screwing with their fish enclosures, so they moved out off the north shore of Cozumel and started growing pearl oysters. After the move, the realized the water (so full of "nutrients" as it was from the sewer treatment plant) in Laguna Ciega would have been much better for the oysters than their new place. They offer trips to see the operation. They also invented an anchoring system that they seem to spend more time on these days than the pearl farm.
