Hello everyone! As is the case for a lot of people (I imagine), I have been lurking, reading and learning from the forum for a few months. I thought it was finally time to join.
I am in the process of receiving my OW certification through NAUI. Life has brought me to Majuro, Marshall Islands, so learning to dive seems like an imperative! I look forward to getting to know everyone and making a few friends!
I have always loved being in the water, but before I moved to the atoll this love was mostly restricted to pools (I grew up in a dry area of the mid west) and later in life to fresh water (I moved to Vermont). I would be holding back if I didn't say the ocean causes me some trepidation. But, I couldn't be more excited about this new journey!
