If you had unlimited resources and were purchasing a new BCD, regulator, computer and 2nd air, what would be your dream set-up?

BCD-a stainless back plate with harness. A set of 50 lb wings, (pick your brand)
Regs- Poseidon Xstream duration. (2 with doubles or single with an Xstream octo)
Computer- VR3

now for the fun stuff,
a DUI CF200 full custom drysuit
doubled set of E7-120's
a few abyss reels
and an OMS 21watt HID

that should about cover most of the stuff you'll need.... :D

I bought all my stuff over the period of a year & a half. Money wasn't an object and I'd still buy the same stuff I have right now.
Guess I was lucky. I would check into a scooter though if I had any cash left.

Ditto...
Exactly the same rig that I have now, except the tanks would be doubled 104s and I'd have a pair of TX100 1st's on them.
Oh ya.. and a Magnum and a shortbody Gavin scooter.

Other than that:
FredT plate.
DUI TLS350 Cave Cut w/dry gloves
Luxfer 13 for argon
Bare CT200 undersuit
Scubapro XL Jetfins
Mares X-Vision mask
Suunto Vyper
Apeks reg set (TX100 or ATX200)
Helios9 18W HID canister light
Couple of Luxfer 40s, each with their own ATX50
Couple of Luxfer 80s, each with their own ATX50

Now adding to the list since money is no object:

T-bottle of argon
12 T-bottles of O2
12 T-bottles of Helium
RIX SA6 compressor
Various hoses and valves to get the above into the tanks

Oh ya... and a 45ft dive boat with crew.

Mike Veitch:
Only 45 feet?
More than enough for me and three buddies, big enough to mount a compressor and deck shower, but still small enough able to get into the secret lobster spot without having to launch the tender.

If money was really no object, I would get together a bunch of smart doctors and get myself some gills.

Wow! That's a lot of gas. You know T cylinders can be refilled, right? LOL!

So I guess I shouldn't mention the 16 6500psi cylinders I'd premix EAN32 into for the primary cascade?
Makes blending a little easier ya know... :D

My instructor was thrown overboard after a dive and with all his gears dismounted by the waves and nobody actually realised it until they reach the shore, they sent out a boat to look for him, but did not find him. He floated for the whole night, lucky have the dive suit, and was spotted by a navy ship passing by. So the idea of the Life Raft or the SMB with the strobe, EPIRB, and the Co2 pump will be of a life saver, of course with all the above in the hip pocket and not on the BC.
