IF the FWC were to open a Goliath Grouper season, how would you:
1. Spear a fish that size and get it to the boat?
2. Get de feesh IN de boat?
3. Buy enough beers to wash down dat much feesh?
and then there is:
Do GG's REALLY have giant worms in their flesh?
if so...how do de worms taste?
and last and probably least--Would the Discovery Channel be down here in FL filming "The Deadliest Jewfish"?
Inquiring minds < that need more to do> want to know!

1) Stone it in the head & lift bag it up.
2) A winch would be nice.
3) Extra job.

Worms, dunno. red grouper do. When cooked they taste like grouper

With a mouth that big, I'd skip the liftbag and just purge my reg inside it's mouth shoot it to the surface.

On the subject of a GG harvest, it won't happen anytime soon, but the population is exponentially growing especially on the Gulf coast side. I'm not so sure on the east coast side yet.
