In need of a buddy!

Hey Folks,
I am rather new to Scuba Board but I am hoping to find someone to dive with either tomorrow or Tuesday in the SoCal area. I am a student minoring in scientific diving at Humboldt State University and I am currently working on a research project on an invasive nudibranch specie that has recently been found in my area. I need to collect a predatory nudibranch by the name of Navanax inermis and I need someone to dive with. I only have cold water diving experience and I am very unfamiliar with SoCal dive spots. Please let me know if you are interested in being my dive partner! I am considering diving Shaw's Cove, if you have any other recommendations on killer dive spots I would appreciate that as well!

Here is my suggestion: Start at Shaws then progress to Heisler Park North and Divers Cove right next door. Then ask around for the directions to Deadman's Reef at Crescent Bay. For Nudi's look for a boat diving Hawthorne Reef off PV. If you are still here when we head out next I will send you a ping.
