Where at the resort did you experience bugs? I didn't get a single bite last year. Maybe just that I didnt spend much time outside, but really didn't notice any.

The primary bad spots seemed to be the lagoon (especially around the iron shore), the walk/dock out to the boat, and the bar area because of the mangrove that is growing up right there.

I've got bumps big enough for bot flies from them little bastages. Not every one is as sensitive as me.

Yeah, that must be it - I must have had the drysuit on the whole time. I'm gonna have to suggest that for bug protection - ain't many bugs that can bite through that.... It does take a little more luggage space than cactus juice...
