Inon macro attachment for G9.

I have a couple of Inon UCL165AD for my canon S80.

I now plan to buy a macro wet lens for my G9. The F.I.T adapter can use either the Inon UCL330 (67 mm thread) or UCL165 (67mm thread).

Both are the same price. I assume the UCL165 would be better as it has a shorter focal length? Is this correct and can anybody recommend which one I should buy.

(I know the G9 is already good for macro. Just need to get some more gear!!!:D)

I use dual stacked Inon UCL165M67 lenses on my G9 when shooting extreme macro, and have been very happy with the results. I do not use any kind of an adapter, because my Patima housing allows me to screw the lenses directly onto the housing.

I've posted these before, but here's a few examples that will show you the kind of results I've gotten with both stacked lenses:

Really nice Adrian, care to comment on your camera setting for these? are you also using the camera with lens in a telephoto setting or at it's widest?

Thanks

Kerry

Nice results Adrain.

I do not intend to double stack on the G9. I find it very difficult to get decent focus as the DOF is so small. I have double stacked the UCL165 AD on my S80 and found it very difficult to get sharp focus.

On a related note, since I just ordered the Inon UCL-165M67 for my G9 today, is there a lens cap available? I can't seem to find one. Do any of you users use one or something to protect the lens?
