Instructor recommendation in (or near) Jakarta

Hi all

I have a very good friend who is looking to take his first steps into diving.

I have told him how important his choice of instructed is rather than the price paid for the course. Just looking for open water at this stage.

Can anyone recommend an instructor in or nearby to Jakarta?

Livingseas. PADI shop but ran by GUE folks. I wished I had known this shop before starting. BP/W, and he will need to do the drills in trim, no kneeling.

If possible avoid bubbles. They have a nice deep swimming pool but apart from that, they only do the usual "kneel on the bottom" stuff.
Also my instructor's English was good enough to go through the material without a problem, however he could not understand much of my English so practically he couldn't answer any of my questions.

Just for reference my friend is fluent in English and Bahasa, so and instructor who speaks either fluently will be fine.

Where your friend stays in Jakarta plays a huge role in who he can use. A dive center in North Jakarta could be three hours away if your friend is in South Jakarta.
