Thanks, HiDefPics. I was curious about the camcorder since I'm considering an upgrade from my current mini-DV to the HC-3 (which will work in the same housing I've used for all my other Sony cameras!).
Limited low light capabilities seem to be a real pitfall on some of the HDV camcorders (including the HC-3).
